Directions:
This map will get you to Rowayton. As you approach - there will be a cannon on your left opposite Pinkney Park (where Shakespeare on the Sound is held every June/July). Turn left just after the canon onto Wilson Avenue, and take the second driveway on your right into the Rowayton Municipal Parking Lot. Walk through the lot to the Rowayton Avenue, and Downunder is located on the other side of the Street, below the Rowayton Market. You can take a walk through the market and grab a snack/use the bathroom, before heading out back and taking the stairs down. Or take the alleyway to the left of the store. If you pass the canon... turn into the parking lot behind the Rivercat Restaurant/Post Office/Bank - the lot is on the far left.
Public Boat Launch: click on these words to reach a mapquest link, or enter 68 Rowayton Ave. Written directions: follow directions to Downunder, continue past the Rowayton Market and Rivercat Restaurant. Through a stop sign at McKinley. At the end of the road where it forks, keep right, going into the 'no outlet' area. Boat launch is on the right 100 feet up. Limited parking. Mud at low tide so wear appropriate footwear. Out of hours parking at Fairfield County Bank intersection of McKinley and Rowayton Ave.
